The AICP announced in September that it had negotiated terms with the DGA for a new 3 year agreement, pending ratification by the DGA membership.  Although the new agreement is not yet ratified, the AICP has published the rates that will become effective as of December 1, 2011 should the agreement be ratified.

Key provisions of the new agreement include:
- Low Budget Commercials ceiling raised to $300,000, with a maximum of $75,000 per day and no limit on the number of days.
- Scale rates increase by 2% each year of the agreement
- 1.5% increase in Health Plan contributions; no increase in Pension contributions.
- 6th day pay rate on overnight locations reduced from 200% to 150%
- The DGA has agreed that members may be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement when working in production to protect advertiser confidentiality.  The NDA may limit the use of cell phones and cameras on set as well.
