ACTRA National Commercial Agreement Going to Conciliation

July 31, 2008 - The extension of the ACTRA National Commercial Agreement expired on July 31, 2008, and, the parties have not yet reached an agreement.

The Canadian Ministry of Labour will oversee conciliation meetings to be held on September 3 and 4 between ACTRA on behalf of the performers and the ACA and ICA on behalf of the Canadian advertising industry as a continuation of the process.

In the interim, ACTRA Commercial production will continue under the terms and conditions of the existing agreement.
