Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Establishing liaison relationship with business stakeholders in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Assessing customer needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and provide advice on options.
- Developing technical documents such as Scope, design, functional specifications based on the business processes.
- Analyzing existing information systems and applications to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree required - 3-5 years recent experience in a Business Analyst position.
- Experience with financial accounting packages
- Proficient in developing business case, business flow, use cases, test cases, gap analysis, and understanding of relational database is required.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and/or software development methodology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
- Strong knowledge of HTML is desired.
- Project management certification / experience preferred
