GERRY SCHWARTZ, President
Gerry’s extensive knowledge of payroll and business affairs for the entertainment industry stems from nearly thirty years of experience in the business. His unwavering dedication and loyalty to his clients has made him an effective advocate on their behalf when negotiating individual contracts, as well as positioning him as a sought after resource and participant in industry wide guild negotiations. Gerry developed his understanding of the many facets of the business during his tenure at industry giant, IDC. His focus on sessions and residuals for all performance categories under the AFM, SAG, & AFTRA agreements, as well as his work with the WGA, DGA, and IATSE contracts, for work in sound recording, commercials, television, film, and the internet, quickly made him an industry expert and led to his acquisition of TEAM in 2000. Since that time, Gerry has been instrumental in the growth of the TEAM’s three divisions, Artist Tours, Music, and Advertising & New Media, as well as the company’s joint partnership expansion into Australia and New Zealand.
MARK SULLIVAN, Chief Operating Officer
Mark’s unique blend of accounting, executive leadership, personal management and entertainment industry experience keeps TEAM’s systems and operations at their competitive best within the music, advertising and artists tours industries.
Mark began his career in finance at an international accounting firm Arthur Andersen where he audited both privately and publicly held companies. He then moved to MCA as an internal financial/information systems consultant, where he evaluated and instituted new systems for over 40 MCA subsidiaries. After five years at MCA, Mark was tapped as the Director of Operations for Polygram Records, handling personnel, recording administration, and operations for their west coast office. Mark expanded his area of expertise to include personal management within the entertainment industry when he left Polygram to become the COO for Left Bank Management. Soon after, his entrepreneurial interest was piqued, which inspired him to co-found Tribe, where he functioned as the firm’s COO for eleven years before joining TEAM.
JUDY SANTI, Senior Vice President
Judy has honed her expertise with the SAG, AFTRA & AFM Labor Agreements for all aspects of the music and advertising industries through an array of professional experiences in television, ad agencies, music houses, top payroll companies, and as the President of her own payroll firm, Half Note. A native Chicagoan, Judy launched her career in payroll and business affairs right after moving to Los Angeles, when she landed the payroll position on the TV show, Midnight Special. This eventually led her to the music division of payroll giant IDC, where she worked with TEAM’s President, Gerry Schwartz. Judy expanded her proficiency in advertising business affairs during her time at several ad agencies including McCann-Erickson’s LA office. In addition to McCann, Judy spent time working with noted music producers and prepared budgets and union forms for the country’s top orchestra managers including those from NBC’s Tonight Show’s orchestra and Paramount Studios. Judy’s business savvy shone through in 1994 when she launched and quickly expanded her payroll firm, Half Note. Ten years later she reunited with Gerry Schwartz when she merged Half Note into TEAM, expanding the company’s advertising and music divisions. In addition, from her early leadership role in the Advertising Business Affairs Association to her current participation in trade organizations like AMP, Judy continues her long-standing tradition of advancing industry knowledge on key issues through seminars and professional networks.
